What have you taken for granted in your life?
The things and/or people that you really value in life, do you take the time to thank them or thank God for them?
When did you stop being thankful...that is when did you start taking that blessing for granted?

Do you ever feel as though you are being taken for granted?
What I see is we all think that we are been taken for granted and we are.
It's not a persecution complex yet such a complex emotion.
It's reality.
Another's advantages mixed with a simultaneous discontent and resentment at their advantages.

When it happens to me, I try taking it as an unspoken compliment about how well I do something, but it doesn't always work.
I'm human as well...

I'm so drained from having to please people all my life.
So sick & tired of giving, giving and giving...and giving....
People just simply take and take and take.
I'm not expecting any returns, a simple request is all i'm asking for....
Please.
Know your limits.
Stop expecting people to accomodate you all the time.

I'm not a confrontational person and sometimes it is just so difficult to articulate things so precisely.

No matter how long friendships are, we don't spend long enough telling our friends how important they are to us.
Thankfully, one of the definitions of a friend is someone who does not expect speeches of appreciation and gratitude.

For parenthood, it goes without saying - but not without complaining.
Children assume parents are their tutors, chauffeurs, financers, chefs, etc.
We don't appreciate our parents until we become parents.
That is when our parents get to appreciate grandchildren - the ones who take us for granted.

And we don't realise we are taking people for granted until we are being taken for granted.
