Another month without a proper PC...

Wanted to buy a new desktop this month,but after spending so much on x'mas shopping & baking,i realised that i haven't got much left.if i buy it,i'll have to live on bread & water up till next payday.
checked out on the instalment plans at BEST electrical store.
either i pay instalments by credit card with no interest charge or i take up the in-house instalment plan which i have to pay interest.On top of that,i have to submit my payslips or CPF statements for the last 6 months.
an alternative that the sale staff recommended was applying for the BEST member card.I need not pay the nterest if i own the card.I told him that i'll like to apply now.Then he passed me the application form & told me i have to submit my CPF statements.Sighz...,so it still brings down to no difference...such a hassle...i have to dig out from my huge piles of letters...
