The show goes on,Rain or Shine....


met up on a thurs afternoon to get some food....SOME.......we ended up buyin $120++ worth of food...
chicken franks,the wings,crab meat,sotong balls,crab balls,clams,peeled prawns,6 bottles of beverage,the utensils,seasonings and stuff....oh my...tink we overspent!
Riz brought fried noodles,more chicken wings & Emelia brought fruit salad later in the nite.
we started the fire around 6...
Ina & Angie started the fire while Sharon ,Krys & i went on to wash & marinate the wings ,Junna was gettin the frozen food outta the plastics...
Ha!to the boyfrenz out there...we made it...we started the fire WITHOUT u guys in minutes...
man...there lotsa hungri flies flyin ard,tryin to pinch on our food...a couple of us had to fend them off...
damn...it had to rain not long after we started our bbq...
we covered the food with clean trash bags and headed on to a nearby tree to seek shelter...
thank GOD there it was jus a passsin shower & there wasn't any lightnin...

rain stopped...fire's not totalli out yet...jus had to add in a few more charcoals & fan the fire...
carried on with our bbq...man...we'r all hungri....can't wait to dig in...
there were lotsa food...doubt we cld finish them off...
too many chicken franks....we got 3 paks!
we'r dependin on the guys who were comin later to finish them up.

the prawns were a lil blend despite the garlic,sambal & butter we add...
well.. had to wait for ah bui to bring salt & ice packs then...

the wings Riz brought were great..they were fleshy & juicy...she marinated the wings & freid some maggie goreng...
ahhh....maggie's my all time fav...i luv anything's dat instant...instant noodles,porridge,cup noodles,instant soup...

we had wonderful tastin prawns after we added salt to it...
the sambal's great...
wonder wat they added to the clams,tho...
they were spicy....damn spicy....

Emelia's watch stopped & she kept tinkin we start at 8pm...
she brought a good fren along...
all nite of indulgence & chattin...
kenneth came after work...
time for the guys to take over the bbqin...
girls relax & pig out....!
we'r all sweaty & oily...
