RAINBOW'S DINNER AND DANCE 2006
BOLLYWOOD...




tis year's dinner n dance is kinda borin...
first of all...everyone got turned off by the theme...
well...decision's made,poster's out and examples of bollywood fashion are out...
we've got no choice...do we?

anyway...
everyone's lookin for indian inspired apparel...
me...hmmm...decided to get down to designin my own apparel again...
been ages since i got down to sewing...since i left poly...like 4 yrs ago....
not gonna follow strictly by the them...
juz gonna add a tinge of indian style with SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS from ARAB STREET...

woke up at around 7am to get my hair done by my mum...cos she's gotta rush off to work...
couldn't get back to Zzz so went on to have my mani & pedi done, trimmed my brows and...
FOOM!it's 12 already...headed on for lunch...

a couple of us headed off to KRYS's place to get all dressed & dolled up...
JUNNA shared her professionalism on make-up...
dolled SHARON,INA & MEI YAN up....
i helped SHARON to style her hair....
WOA!SHARON looks stunning after the whole styling session...Cool~
JUNNA helped KRYS to curl her hair with an electric curler...
MEIYAN came pretty late...she was packin up at home for her trip to the CAMERONS...
SHARON & i tried to help MEIYAN curl her hair....oh boy...it was a disaster!
wahaha...

headed down to MARINA MANDARIN...
lotsa bollywood glamour...
saris,pujabi costumes,all shiny & glittery....

everyone's getting excited all bout takin photographs...

for starters,we had mini baguettes & butter....
smoked salmon was served for appetitizer....yummmy....the salmon's pretty fresh...had more than my share....took a few more slices from those who don't take salmon...
onion soup(i supposed) with a chicken ball was served with a piece of cracker...not too bad...
oh...main course was sucky....the chicken breast was tough and too big a piece...the rice was filled with garlic,too oily...the spinach wasn't too fresh either...
dessert was acceptable...caramalized lemon tart served with berries...the tart's a little too sour...

performances were kinda boring tis year...'cept for the indian dance performed by 4 outsiders.
they were great...all dat shakin,twistin & thumpin...no wonder they're so skinny...
great dance to take up to lose some pounds...
