nEw YeaR's eVE

lazed in bed till bout close to 12 noon.
had choco & raisin log cake for breakfast.
went for a shower then repainted my nails as most of them had already chipped off.
jAmes was stucked to the laptop while i was doing my manicure.he shook his head on how troublesome mancure can get.
guys...what do they understand...haha...
left for his place around 3plus...
it was pouring heavily,thank GOD i was wearing t-shirt & shorts.
ironed my dress upon reachin his place,showered again then started putting on my make-up.
his parents were whipping up lasangne fro dinner...oh man...we're gonna miss that!
mAria called up & told me to go to sUnteC asap,she was the emccee for the night & she needed me to put on some make-up for her.
took a cab down to sUnteC,the dinner & dance was at ballroom 603.ann marie was giving flowers to all the ladies.






there was a reception before the dinner started.
helped mAria to apply some make-up in the ladies.
silly girl was not used to putting on make-up,esp. having her eyebrows drawn.her eyebrows are very nicely-shaped yet she has never drawn them.she could not get used to it & decided to rub it off...
put on white shadow with glitter & blusher powder for her too.
the event started off with a short praise & worship session,followed by a prayer led by Fr. Robertus.
Dinner started after a short video clip of Fr. Stephen Yim's message was screened.


Menu:
Cold dish>spring roll,fried five-spice roll,marinated jellyfish,etc...
Shark fins soup
Stir-fried prawns dipped in XO sauce
Sea Bass
Five-spice roasted chicken served with prawn crackers
Mushrooms with veggie
Noodles
Glutinous rice balls in red bean paste



though the food was not that fantastic,really enjoyed the show & performances put up by the youths.the games were pretty exciting & enjoyed the company.



jAmes smsed his officer & asked if he could take last minute leave tomorrow.
after checking the duty roster,he told jAmes that they will need manpower so he cannot take leave.

we left early because jAmes is gonna be on morning shift the following day & we did not want to clash with the crowd at the esplanade,getting a cab would be a big problem.
got home around midnight.we were on the phone,wishing each other a happy new year.
it is a pity...
if only he need not work on new year's day.
