jAmes' mum brought me to aMara hotel for a massage @ aMore dAy sPa...
we were late & the masseuse who was suppose to attend to me had another customer at 7 sharp.
auntie gave up her appt. to me.
was a complete idiot to tis sorta luxury.
waited in the oxygen room while the recept. got me a towel & robe.
the recept. showed me to the locker,gave me a pair of slippers to change into then brought me to a massage room.she jus told me to change into the robe.
she told me to go to the steam bathroom after gettin changed.
hmmm...i didn't know i was supposed to wrap myself in the towel...
walked into the steam bathroom & sat there like an idiot...
tot to myself: the seat's wet...who on earth would go into a steam bathroom with clothes on.but i dun see anybody walkin ard in towels...
oh well...dun wanna b idiot no more...
walked back to the massage room.
here comes mAy,my masseuse...
she noticed dat the towel was dry & asked if i had taken my shower.
me:"ermz...am i supposed to?i'm new to tis stuff...
thank GOD she was nice enuff not to mock at me...she taught me the process & stuff...

mAy:"are u afraid of pain?"
me:"a lil'..."
fists clenched...OUCH!OUCH!
mAy:"i tink u r in pain"
me:"yes...i'm VERY afraid of pain."
she went softer on me after dat...but still hurts...
no pain no gain eh?

was nicin chattin wif her...
she guessed i'm in the teachin profession upon knowin dat i've got lotsa shoulders & neck aches...
she guessed my knees were weak & often get muscle tensions...BINGO!
my muscles often pulled the hella outta me in the mid of the nite.
told me it's bcos i strain my muscles too much doing sports.
told me not to drink chin chow...MAN!dat's my fav. drink...
told me the right position i should place my neck when i sleep...
hmmm...i tend to curl myself up when i sleep...bad bad....

auntie treated us jap cuisine after massage...
shobas,sashimis,chawanmushi,soft shell crabs,miso soup,salmon butter yaki,tempuras,california rolls,agedashi tofu...
the food wasn't fantastic but i had a great time.

feel realli blessed to have sucha great bf with sucha great mum...
to b able to click so well & share the same interest in jap cuisines & italian food...
at least i didn't have to try too hard to communicate with her,compared to other ex bfs' mums...

lyonel's mum: i was forced to tryin too hard...
jeremy's mum: she looked realli fierce..all i ever said to her was "hi auntie,bye auntie."pathetic eh?
arman's mum: chatted with her a bit..only over the phone..never saw her...it never last long enuff to...
gene's mum: met her only once,"hi auntie."never saw her again after dat...
the rest...oh well..never met,never spoke...

gave myself a good body scrub & head massage.
had my nails repainted.
all i need now is a face mask to feel totalli rejunvenated...
